August 12, 2019. The second day I was in Laoag City. This Monday Mariano Marcos State University is on holiday because it celebrates Eid al-Adha for Muslims, therefore this afternoon at 02.00 PM Our coordinator, Ma'am Jeanette invited all of Sea Tecaher for a walk in the Laoag City, Ilacos Norte and buy the items we need here. Ma'am Jeanette picked us up at the dormitory and immediately left to use her car.
The first place we visited was Ilacos
Norte Capitol, where we stopped to take a picture. Ilacos Norte Capitol is
located on JP Rizal Street the Ilacos Norte Provincial Capitol was erected in
1917 under the administration of the Governor Florencio Castro. In front of
Ilacos Norte Capitol, there is a clock made of living plants, we also took
pictures there too. I think this government building is very interesting from
its structure like a tourist attraction. The next place we visited was the
Hypermarket located across the Ilacos Norte Capitol. There we bought some
personal necessities such as shower gel, detergent, snacks, and so on.
Hypermarkets like supermarkets that are quite complete in Laoag City. Then,
after shopping, we continued on to Robinson. Robinson is the largest mall in
Ilacos Norte. When we got out of the car it was raining hard enough that we
used umbrellas to protect our bodies.
The first place we visited was typical
Filipino food stalls, where we tasted kosher food from the Philippines namely
Buchi, miki, and Puto. It feels good. Next we went to an electronics store, to
buy a charger because chargers in the Philippines and Indonesia are different
and finally we exchanged money from USD to Philippine Peso. At 6:00 PM Ma'am
Jeanette drove us home to the dormitory. Today we are so happy that we have
forgotten the time. So my story in today 's , wait for my story the following
day because it will be more exciting and memorable. Xoxo
