Day 16 Birthday Party

August 26, 2019. Today the school is closed because in the Philippines is celebrating National Heroes' Day which happens to be on this day. National Heroes' Day is a public holiday, it is a day off for the general population and schools and most businesses are closed. Even though today did not go to school, participants of Sea Teacher and Sea Tvet received a birthday invitation from Sister Carla, she was a friend of Mr. Mee Jay. We leave at 07.00 AM using the bus, because the distance is quite far. The birthday party was held at the Sea Horse Treveller Inn.

After an hour's drive, we finally arrived at the bus stop and were immediately picked up by Sister Carla to head to the location. The location for a birthday party is near to the beach and there are also facilities for karaoke here, so we can all sing together while enjoying the calm sound of the waves. The place is comfortable and the event is fun.

We were given a lot of food, we tasted some typical Filipino foods . Sister Carla was very friendly, she welcomed us well. I'm lucky to know him. The event finished at 04.00 PM, after we had lunch and took a picture we finally said goodbye to return to the dormitory. That's all for my story today, wait for my story the next day because it will be more exciting and memorable. Xoxo
