The next activity, we went to the main campus
of Mariano Marcos State University in Batac City to meet President MMSU named Dr.
Shirley C. Agrupis. He is very kind and friendly welcoming us. After that, we
were invited to tour the main campus of Mariano Marcos State University with
our coordinator and take a picture together.
In the afternoon, we were invited to eat in
the campus canteen and try chicken soup from the Philippines, I felt the
chicken soup taste was different between in the Philippines and Indonesia, but
still delicious. After the
affairs on the Batac City campus were finished, we went to the Immigration
office at the Robinson Mall to apply for a visa and it took quite a long time
to get a visa. Requirements for obtaining a visa only fill in a number of forms
and passports. After the visa was finished, we went to the MMSU Laboratory
Elementary School to meet the Teacher Training Instructor, the teacher who
would guide and give the topic of the lessons I would teach at school. My
Teacher Training Instructor is named Ma'am Leizel Concepsion, he is a grade IV Science
teacher.
At the first meeting we only shared
stories about education in Indonesia and the Philippines, I also explained the
strategies and media that I would use when teaching Science and Ma'am Leizel
greatly appreciated the ideas I gave, which made me even more excited to
immediately teach in class. So my story in today's, wait for my story the
following day because it will be more exciting and memorable. Xoxo
