August 31, 2019. Today we, the
participants, are invited to take a vacation to Vigan City. Even though it's
raining heavily and the weather is so cloudy we still leave. The distance
between Laoag City and Vigan City was quite far, so we left at 8.00 AM. We were
accompanied by Hasmin and Ma'am Jacquelyn. The first location visited was the
place of making pottery in Vigan City. The first time I tried making clay
pottery and it was fun.
Next we went to the Baluarte Zoo, where
we saw various animals such as tigers, snakes, turtles, zebras, kangaroos, and
many more. Not to forget, we visited the Baluarte Museum which showed various
preserved animals such as elephants, lions, bears and others. Before going to
the next location, we had lunch first and after that toured Vigan City by
horse. In Vigan City we tried to enter the Father Burgos Museum located in the
middle of Vigan City. Father Burgos home is now a satellite museum of the
National Museum. After that, continue the journey to the souvenir shop.
Vigan City is a great place and the
buildings are like Old City in Jakarta, Indonesia. Because the rain was getting
heavier, we ended up going home earlier and along the flood road. This is one
of the effects of Typhoon. Even though it was raining but this holiday was fun
and exciting. That's all for my story today, wait for my story the next day
because it will be more exciting and memorable. Xoxo
